Transdermal application (TDA) is the world’s unique system that can transport
active ingredients and active substances non-invasively, painlessly, and precisely to the regions to be treated. TDA offers a new and effective treatment method for a wide range of diseases and beauty blemishes. It is based on a perfect interplay of state-of-the-art medical technology and pharmacologically active ingredients, which are incorporated into specially developed carrier substances. While conventional topical forms of application failure due to the skin barrier, TDA can transport the substances into the deep subcutis.

The patent-protected TDA technology was originally created for medical use. The unique, patented carrier substance LP3 was developed within a pharmaceutical project with our sister company, Arivine Pharma AG, an innovative life science company based in Switzerland. Since the late 1990s, we have been researching transdermal applications together with scientists and cooperating with various university hospitals and renowned research centers. Meddrop BMT combines innovative medical technology with galenic excellence. With us, research, development and production come from our own house.

Meddrop BMT conducts research in collaboration with a variety of clinical partners and has won several prestigious funding grants for innovative research projects. To date, the Meddrop team secured two national CTI research grants in Switzerland for the TDA project, won a European Union grant from the “EU HORIZON 2020” funding program for outstanding and innovative SMEs, and was also awarded a prestigious German federal project (BMBF) from the “EuroTransBio” initiative.
